The Australian Archive of Play Memories - The Creative Series brings together portraits, hand-drawn childhood play memory maps and recorded conversations with artists and creative practitioners recalling the places where they played as children. Developed for the 2026 Castlemaine State Festival, the project considers how memories of play are connected to place, imagination and the landscapes of childhood.
