Future Pasts

2026 ~ ongoing

Future Pasts brings together works developed from images made at Leanganook (Mount Alexander) following the 2026 Harcourt bushfires. Landscape images are layered with cosmological imagery from the Hubble Space Telescope and altered through inversion, reflection, stitching and burning. The works consider disturbance and regeneration while shifting between the earthly and the cosmic, unsettling familiar ways of seeing the landscape.
